Tuilagi usually struggles with faster players not big boshers. Still think it's a decent selection to give Ford and Toomua something to worry about.

Looks to be fairly even starting sides on paper. Tigers have a large advantage at half back, Quins in the back row. Bunch of good youngsters around too.

Bothma looked good last week when he came on.

I'll say again, I have a horrible feeling Horwill will never play again.

Robshaw must be still working to get back from injury.

Care must be being rested presumably?

Not sure Saili is injured is he? Don't remember seeing him go off with any knocks.

Unless he's injured, I'm shocked that Saili is not at 12.

Sad that Care is not playing and, that Ward is.

Care is an odd omission from the team sheet. I hope it's not fitness related as we could do with him against Wasps. He always seems to do well at HQ for us.
It's nice to have a range of options at 12 with Saili, Taps and Lasike all offering different things. I'm guessing that if Gussy wants a hard-running unit like Lasike to tie up Toomua and Ford in the 10-12 channel, then there's no reason to have someone like Saili on the bench. Also, your 3rd back on the bench is normally one who can fill in either in the centres or the back three, as there's always the issue of a potential injury to a Winger or Full Back that necessitates a re-shuffle. Better to have a player like Alofa in the bench that allows you options of different line-ups rather than having someone who covers less positions meaning you end up with situations like we had a few years back of Scrum Halves acting as Wingers...

Care tweaked his hamstring a week or so ago. Surprised by no Saili at 12 to be honest but let’s hope Lasike can give us some good go forward. I’m not feeling terribly confident about tomorrow if I’m honest.

He’s on the not considered for selection list so I guess and under this system that is all we can do he’s picked up an injury

Interesting and strong team. I’m still a bit concerned about 9 and 10s ability to fire and move things along at pace...

The team looks solid. We have several powerful ball carriers who can make the hard yards, with sheer pace in the forms of Earle, Murley and Marchant for when there is a fraction of space. And Brown, to be fair!

Just watching Saints destroy Warriors. Biggar is quality. A mature performance from the fly half, he controlled the game beautifully. James and Marcus, you will get there too, my boys!!!!!

I like the look of that team...

Then you cast your eyes down and see Dave Lewis on the bench, he has been a awful signing for us. Would rather Saunders given and shot or Waters seeing as he was on the bench Monday night just gone.

I hope we get a proven first team 10 for next season in place of the Cat to offer that game management I feel we’ve been missing this season (total respect to the Cat & what he has been through with that horrific injury) Lang & Smith are quality youngsters but feel they need a bit longer & rotated with a senior 10

Very solid player. Though the kick routine is utterly bizarre...
