I am impressed with our will to play the ball. Lets hope we can take it forward to Sarries next week. Gutted for Northmore but Herron great day at 10.

Why not. He's one of the worst refs around

Only two more weeks of the cheating French to put up with.  And their Irish mates.

Clancy also has never read the laws regarding supporting ones own considerable weight when turning the ball over...putting your arms on the turf first does not mean you do it legally...he’s def in the bottom set regarding refs

Watched it on TV whilst also following the Test match from Port Elizabeth. Quins looked good & was impressed with some of the delayed passing from most of the guys, really good & classy that. Herron had his best game as did Landajo. There seemed to be a lot of spirit out there, & the crowd are always going to appreciate that. The scratch centres did well & I hope Northmore is ok. Jack Musk is growing very quickly into a really good player. Awful refereeing comes as standard these days. for at least one turnover the Clermont player was practically doing a push up! Feeling rather heartened after that!

Is it Clancy refereeing?

Yes. And he is probably the worst referee in the Northern Hemisphere. Absolutely no idea of what's going on in front of him. He is totally useless and dead easy to con. Shouldn't be allowed near anders under 14 B team game.

He is unbelievably bad. No insight into the game at all. I've no idea why he's allowed to ref at this level. He got chucked out of International reffing as he made so many bad decisions.

Apart from the reffing and the result, that was a great afternoon! Fantastic energy and intent.

Agreed DDtheD! That was a magnificent effort by the boys with such an inexperienced team. For Jack Musk to make his first start for the club and go the full 80 playing as he did was very impressive. I thought we would get stuffed by one of Europe's top teams but the lads took them to the wire, forcing them into some shameful manipulation of the rules at the end. And Dommers looked the real deal again. The only disappointing performance was the ref's.

Hang in there boys until the cavalry comes back.

That was more enjoyable than most of our wins. Great performance under the circumstances. I hope Rocker attended!

We played well. Heron was exceptional,  both centres played like they had played together for months. We seem to have an Argentinian scrum half who is good. Alex was awesome. The whole team played well but I just wanted to pick out some for specific mention.

For mostly a scratch team they certainly worried Clermont, lots of positives to take away from it.

Really pleasing. Great effort and commitment. James Chisholm, dombrandt, herron and both centres all very good.

Some great last ditch defending. Impressive to outscore them three tries to two.

Too many penalties conceded, lack of composure at times, but understandable.

Thought we could and should have scored again in the final 20 and deserved at least a draw.

Feared the worst and was pleasantly surprised. Hope we take that attitude into next week

Please can they not play random music during every stoppage in future. Killed any atmosphere and was just wrong
