TRP this morning

According to Fissler Luke Wallace is going to Tigers. Hope he finds his mojo there plenty of places for his bike in the hills there.

I suspect he’ll have plenty of free weekends to surf

If have thought Exeter would be a better fit. Mountain Biking and surfing possibilities abound.

Why would Exeter sign Wallace?

Why would Exeter sign Wallace?

Because he's a very good player.

According to Fissler Bristol were also after him so he has gone for rugby not surfing. He had an excellent season when he captained the LV team and won, but his last injury seems to have demotivated him, needs a new start

They lack pace and have one good backrower over the ball.

Agreed, and even he's a penalty magnet.

In which case he's conned some very knowledgeable people into paying him a wage for something you think he's not very good at. I think I'll trust their judgement over yours.

I'm not sure it's fair to say he was demotivated him. He had a really bad injury which he did well to come back from as quickly as he did. Unfortunately, when he did come back he came back into a team who were low on confidence and playing badly and the club was on a pretty steep downward slope. I've never really agreed with the way we use him out on the wing a lot of the time as he's too far from the action, which is where he thrives.

He's now just behind other players who are either better players, in better form or who suit our new game plan more. It's not really through any fault of his, as Gustard was keen to point out when selecting him for the European and cup games. Wish him well if / when he does go
