TRP this week
« on: Sunday 06-Jan-2019, 07:34* »
Big feature on Marcus. Working with Jonnie and saying he could go to WorldCup I hope he doesn’t as good be big knock back. Match report raving about Dombrandt and big praise for MikeBrown.
Fissler repeating Jack Clifford to Chiefs andsaying he is from Brisbane seem to have forgotten he went to RGS! Walker to Tigers.
Jeff Probyn says Officials should not have connections to clubs (ie citing officer Buster White Wasps) and that MB should not have jumped into Bassett.

Probyn is a moron, not sure why people keep giving him a voice.

Clifford was born in Australia, no matter where he later went to school.

Also states that he (Clifford) has spoken to Bordeaux as well as interest from Wasps and Tigers.

As well as Lawday from Cheifs, we are also interested in Witty from Falcons (as are Cheifs)

Will be a shame to lose Clifford, he is looking very good again after a long layoff injured.

Pull for Clifford to Chiefs seems to be Rob Hunter whom he worked with in U20s, that assumes he has made the decision to move

Also, Pat Howard names his dream XV of best players. At number 10 is The Cat.

Yeah, I dream of the Cat playing 10 too. Must stop eating cheese before bedtime.

I'm assuming that having played and trained with Catrikilis, Pat Howard has some idea of how good he is. But hey, the guy suffered a serious injury so he'll clearly never be any good, if indeed he ever was.

I think that is very harsh the guy has clearly lost confidence hardly surprising when he had to learn to speak again and from all accounts very touch and go on the pitch. The answer is probably we will never know

I like the idea that player is not very good, having played top level rugby in South Africa and France -
