Even if this is a short term solution it sounds like he may be out for at least another couple of months.

In his latest Instagram post (2 days ago) he used the words: "Cheesy smile about the new season starting for us tomorrow. Not long until I can join my brothers out on the pitch."

So maybe TRP's info is old...?

Very unimpressed with this if so. Aren't they a very similar age? Simpson is incredibly fast, but that's about it. Not a particularly good 9 imo. Certainly not someone I;d want as first choice. Back up maybe.

TRP seem to be putting 2 and 2 together and making 20 more often than not these days. Simpson isn’t the sort of player I’d expect us to be looking at to be honest but if he replaces Lewis I wouldn’t be too upset.
