I have to politely disagree with this, obviously this is just my opinion and everyone else is entitled to their own but for me the game started slipping away when Danny went for the drop goal. That is the moment that Sarries really knew they had got us under pressure because we changed our winning formula (same as with the Sale game) and I would also say it is exactly the same as the way Quins felt (certainly I did) when Exeter took their shot at goal in the final, that was the moment we knew they where panicking.

In my opinion Danny should have done almost anything else with a penalty advantage, boot it sky high into the try area and see what happens we had absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

At the same time I am very proud of our team, they have a never say die attitude and still showed commitment to try and get that draw at the end when they must have felt very demoralised after what they know was a missed opportunity. I would be very surprised if we see any drop goals or penalty kicks at goal unless it is the last second and in front of the posts to win the game.

But that is just my two cents 

A very fair observation - and I missed that we had a penalty advantage at the Drop Goal, which I agree was a big mistake. But I don't think our team should think "we've failed if we take 3 instead of 7", especially after short phase play - let the oppo think what they like - we'll come back and take the 7 next time!

True, but the thing that puzzled me is why we seemed to change what has been a (successful) tactic in recent times.  I get the argument about being adaptable, but if I were Sarries, that DG would have had me smelling blood.

The way we play, its live by the sword, die by the sword. I can accept that, I think most people do.  Last week it seemed to me we decided to put the sword away!!!

I don't think Quins played like defence was optional. We had the same % of missed tackles as Saracens, and conceded fewer tries. Discipline sure, but then we conceded one more penalty than them.

The defence for the try that won the game was pretty wobbly - they scored too easily.

Understand about the % tackled, but that doesn't tell the whole story - depends where you miss them. It was better today in the second half, but Wasps are somewhat depleted...
