According to the S*n, Ugo Monye is rumoured to be the first celebrity to sign on for this year's Strictly Come Dancing!

I have not read the article out of principle of not wanting to give News International clicks, a Quins fan page on FB mentioned it.

Well he is Mr Razzmatazz now and does a lot of TV and radio, plus his new turn on QoS. Good luck to him and hope he doesn't get the Strictly curse!!!

That decision to retire slightly earlier than planned, because the timing of the window of opportunity to get into media, has been an astute call.

He's also maturing/developing into a sports commentator that's actually interesting to listen on areas other than just games of rugby. Very few other commentators seem to be able to do this.

He just has to manage the difference between being a decent sports commentator and a rent-a-gob like Andy Goode and Michael Vaughan. Of course unlike the last two Ugo does have the benefit of intelligence.

Good for Ugo and his desire to become a celebrity beyond just rugby punditry. Not really sure it's good for rugby. Not bad for rugby either, just not sure it makes any real difference.

Apart from the fact that I would rather set fire to my head and put the flames out with a hammer than be there ;D, how much fun would it be to shout out loud at the start of his performance on any live shows UGOOOOOOOOOOOO! ;D

Ok, I admit i watched Strictly on Sunday morning. I think Ugo could do well, despite being tipped at being the third to leave, the other contestants and professionals even shouted UUUUUUUGGGGGOOOOO as he was being interviewed!
