Yeah, Exeter are dreadful to watch. Not sure why they are never called up on it.
Stuart Barnes often writes about this in The Times.  Exeter are admirable, rather than exciting.  Cordero was fun to watch for them last season, a bit of a throwback back-three jinkster.

Cor blimey! Exeter might be “admirable” or ‘dull”, but I suspect many on here, all variants, would swap their successes over the last 5 years for for the unhinged displays we have endured since winning back on 2012...

Simply cannot watch them - I have not watched them for some times as even though they had not been found to have pssd all over the rules and the salary cap it was obvious to Blind Pew that they were doing so.  Sadly nothing has changed 5M is a drop in the Ocean to Wray and they have the same squad - so what was the point.
They have been sanctioned for a couple of years of cheating whereas the reality is that they have been cheating for about a decade.
Honestly it has totally reduced my appetite to watch games as I do not see the point of a league where one club plays by different rules to every one else.
It was rare for me not to go to the away games but I have not been to been this season and am sure I will not and that I will miss a few home games to boot.  I feel that the domestic competition that I have had  season ticket at for years is just a fraud and I have been a mug.
Had I not already renewed my ST when this came out I would not have done so and will not do so next season.  To me it is not just Sarries that I despise and cannot watch it is that they have taken away any point in watching the league games because in effect nothing has changed.

This must be a world record ongoing flounce I reckon.

I love looking forward to watching the weekly highlights of the league, I OFTEN skip the Exeter highlights!

To be honest Exeter are workmanlike and use their well coached forward strength to engineer attacking space. I think they have developed exceptionally since they have coup by doing the basics well. It's not right to criticise for them executing an effective game plan. And it's been pretty successful for them too

More an observation than a criticism.

Quins haven't been great to watch for a while either, and have won nothing. So yes, I'd swap the rubbish we often get for their dull but effective rugby. Id rather swap it for attractive and effective rugby though.

First build a winning team. Then add the entertaining rugby.

First break the salary cap, buy up most international players in the league....

I was talking about doing it the non-cheating way  :)

This is the first Salarycens thread I came to so I thought I’d mention that I heard some inside info today that they very narrowly avoided a relegation penalty. I think it was a bit like you get the same sentence for robbing one bank as you do for robbing three.

I believe there is nothing in PRL's regulations to relegate a club as punishment for breaching the cap, so I would have made that point to your inside source.

Pretty sure there is, they can extend the 35 points to relegation.

They can extend the 35 points, and I suppose in theory they could calculate an amount that would force relegation but I would have thought it would be seriously difficult to enforce thanks to PRL's previous capitulation a few years ago.
