Had Richmond won at the Rock it would be all over.
But that win for Park pulled them back to 7 points behind with five to go.
Richmond did not have gimme games except perhaps Moseley (6th, 7th, 9th, 11, 13th) - and they had to play two of the sides they had lost to this season. But I doubt many would have been predicting them to lose. And they would need to lose at least one for Park to catch them.

Mind you there is a need to fix the Championship - 12 teams does not generate enough matches to fill a season and so they have the mickey mouse cup.

There is also need to reduce travel for the amateur sides.

The plan was to fix this for the 2021/2 season - but with two months without rugby, perhaps we should use the time to do the proper consultation.
Except we are talking the RFU.
