What a turnaround..
« on: Saturday 18-May-2019, 18:06* »
Congratulations to Paul Gustard, the players and the rest of the club.

I would have taken finishing 5th and just missing out on the playoffs by a kick missing by 1m!

Let's hope the new players get integrated into the club during pre-season.

Fingers crossed for some more signings soon too. We need reinforcement on the win and second row.

Completely agree. Great effort and something to build on for next season.

.. How good was Kunatani?

I'm certainly excited for Champions Cup rugby next season! Fed up of being in the Challenge Cup.

We'll only embarrass ourselves. Probably would have been for the best if we'd been relegated actually.

So we won one game fewer than JK's first season in charge!

5/10. Could do better.

Kunitani was excellent today and had been since coming to the club.

I thought Robshaw was outstanding today.

Merchant was my man of the match, what an all around performance.

Very encouraging to see the fight back in the second half of the second half.

I will not miss Lewis Boyce next season, he was terrible today and cost us the game by giving away those two penalties.

Oh well, summer holidays to look forward too, let's hope the players coming back wanting to improve.

Huge improvements on some dismal seasons! Think we do need a proper no 10 though!!!!

Erm, what?

Smith is not a proper 10?

I thought Lang came on and showed a lot of guys. Smith needed to go for the gaps more. Plus no little drinks over the top of the defence.

Not his greatest game, but he should come back bigger and stronger next season.

Hopefully care will let him play a bit more. We've looked superb when Smith has run games.

Lang ran a lot, but often when there was nothing on.

Perhaps now is not the time for the Smith debate, but he (IMO) is not a Premiership 10, impact sub for two seasons possibly. He doesn't control games as a 10 should, and his win ratio is shocking!!!!

Very very frustrating afternoon, once again, too many silly penalties and handling errors.
At least I don’t have to go to Exeter now.

His win ratio? Blimey.

Care runs games for quins. The few times Marcus has had the chance we've looked much more creative.
