No it's because they all care more about their historical grievances than anything else. Pathetic really.

Farrell lost it after the charge down and failing to catch the hooker. Chucked a miss pass that was intercepted and got even more out of sorts. Daly isn't a full back, rubbish defence,  Youngs was very poor again too

Pathetic?

Ok.

We really are bad losers.

Stock answer is that the English are arrogant.
Yes ... but we’ve got a lot to be arrogant about  ;D ;D

Immediately after the Eng Scot match, supporters on both sides were 'high five-ing' and drinking together in the stadium 'karaoke' bars. Never seen such a lovely display of opposing rugby fans at HQ. Lovely to see, faith restored!

I was talking to a Scottish friend yesterday who was at the game on Saturday. They were surrounded by England supporters one of which was using language that wasn’t polite to abuse Scotland and the Scottish. This tyrant continued until Scotland equalised, then  he quietened down. My friend is female as were many around her but at no point did anybody say anything to this vile person about his language or racist rantings. I’m sure there are many reverse situations but this sort of behaviour is out of order either way.

What happened when after asking him to modify his behaviour and moderate his language, and he failed to do so, they reported him to a steward?

I'm pretty sure it's not racism, but totally agree on the point -- we always ask people not to talk like that if they do at HQ. But as others have said, the crowd has really changed in the 10 years I've been going regularly. We were in the upper tier on Sat, and there were far fewer of the old pink trouser brigade, which is a massive bonus - but there were a few groups of lads around who clearly would have been happier at the races, or boxing or somewhere else where being really obviously drunk and badly behaved is acceptable.

I did ask the question about reporting this sort of thing to a steward. My friend was surprised that the crowd did not self police . Her party were more interested in the game, especially during the comeback and didn’t want to cause any more of a kerfuffle. They tried to ignore the idiot and could feel the embarrassment of the people around them.

No I am not a bad loser - it is only a game after all. Sport is just fun nothing else.   I had a beer and a laugh with Scottish fans after the game.

Sadly however there are many people from the Celtic nations who have resentment or even hatred to the English for the past.  It does not bother me if they want to be angry and bitter that is up to them and they can get on with it but it does exist.

If you witness bad behaviour at Twickenham Stadium, go immediately to one of the two Honorary Stewards standing in the vomitory. In the middles and uppers, they can be seated. Honorary Stewards wear blue Jackets with a yellow bib with Honorary Steward clearly visible on the back. They are unpaid and can face the pitch but are there for a reason, to assist the fans and keep pathways clear of people and debris etc etc. The paid stewards (RFU Casuals/Outside Agency) on the lowers face the fans. They have a duel role to stop pitch invaders so they sit on a stool blocking the pitch entrance and assist the Honorary Stewards by visually scanning the stands for smokers, large flags, large hats, sitting/standing on steps etc. Honorary Stewards aren’t there just to watch the rugby, their job is to constantly monitor their regular allocated stand and, unlike the stool sitters, go up the stairs to the problem area and attempt to resolve it, if they can’t, they contact the Honorary Supervisor (orange jacket) who is a radio carrier, each Supervisor has 5 stands to attend (Example L1 – L5). The supervisor will radio to the tower who will fix a roaming CCTV camera on the area and jointly decide if a removal is required, albeit a threat of removal normally solves the issue. They then attempt to relocate them to an empty seat(s) if possible, discreetly away from the complainer for visual monitoring. On Saturday there were at least 4 separate groups removed. Don’t sit in your seat suffering, speak to an Honorary Stewards.

Sounds like traditional rugby supporters.
