This is special from the "you said, we did" section. I really hope someone submitted this as a joke. And i CANNOT believe the club are actually thinking about this....


I AM CONSTANTLY BEING ASKED FOR MY QUINS CUP BY CHILDREN WHO WANT TO CLAIM THE £1 REFUND. CAN YOU DO ANYTHING TO STOP THIS?

We have recently trialled the returning of Quins Cups only being available to supporters aged 18 or over. This will continue for the early part of next season.

hahahaha. That's pretty pathetic. Being hounded by the vicious young urchins at the Stoop, too scared to say no, being mugged for your cup. If they were running round taking your cup before you'd finished or grabbing it from under your feet that's one thing, but a few children trying to make a few quid is hardly something to get upset about.

Can't believe anybody actually put this in.... Did have a kid try and take a stack of them from us without asking over at the Big Stoop once but a swift - no, sorry we want to claim our own money back sufficed and the kid apologised.

We actively scoop up cups and give them to any kid smart enough to be hoovering up for cash.

Honest to god, if you get angry at a child trying to make a few quid you are a very very awful human being with nothing but dust, darkness, dolls heads and discarded single ballet shoes in your heart.

Quite - any cups left lying around are 100% fair game and arguably doing everyone else a service. I do the same with the flags that get left at BGs as I have about 10 of the things at home and certainly don't need any more!

No probs with kids scooping up Cups to get a few quid .. enterprising .. however I thought it was a good touch at the Rec last season when they said you could hand them in to stewards at the gate instead of queuing for your £1 .. and all proceeds went to local charities via their Foundation .

WE HAVE IMPROVED THE PROCESS TO SPEED UP QUINS CUP RETURNS AND FOLLOWING A SUGGESTION FRO A SUPPORTER, HAVE INTRODUCED HARLEQUINS FOUNDATION RETURN BINS, LOCATED NEXT TO THE QUINS CUP RETURN POINTS, ALLOWING SUPPORTERS TO DONATE THEIR CUP TO THE HARL

Now this brings back a distant memory of deposit returns on glass fizzy pop bottles, grab a couple of empties from a crate out the back of the shop and go around the front and return them.
