He was very pedantic about some things, but seemed to let Brizzle, well George Smith, get away with a lot!

Handily, he used up the whole weekend's allocation of penalties so we should get a free flowing game as a result.

Thoughts:
I hope we don't get Foley any time soon. He's not a very good ref, some horrible decisions.
George Smith is a PITA, but I can't see him lasting a while season in the premiership. He's going to be banned for ever at some stage.
Glos look very good. Powerful forwards, fast skilful backs, Cipriani is very good for them. Not looking forward to us playing them, especially at kingsholm!
