With the announcement of Symo I have a bad feeling Jones and Louw are also leaving from Will Cols post game statement.

He could have been referring to Tizard and Gray rather than Jones/Louw, but who knows. While Symons has been rumoured to retiring for most of the season, it is pure speculation about Louw and the light of his contract, similarly Jones.

I’d then assume some new signing will be named but let’s not get excited they’re likely to be journeymen.

I agree with most of that, but I’ve never thought of Wilco as fast. Almost the opposite. When I see him truck up he ball, it’s like a human glacier - slow but almost unstoppable.

There was a moment against Leicester which made me think exactly that but I don't recall noticing before.

Yeah, he's not quick like Koch, but he's a tank with a lot of low gears...

Louw really is a freakish player. He's fast and very flexible for such a big guy and I think the other players have said he has unusually low body fat for a prop so all that bulk is muscle. The ability to get a body that size low to the ground in the scrum is a real asset.

It's quite scary that he's only 3rd choice for the Boks.

He absolutely schooled Genge last game! I do hope we've got him for at least one more season. His ability to get impossibly low really gives us an edge.

hopefully the lack of rumours and lack of a contract renewal press release means he's already signed up for another season?

My thoughts too

Has anyone heard any rumours linking Louw anywhere else?  He’d be a major signing for for any club.

Why do we think that Jones is leaving? I don’t recall seeing anything about that.
The rumour was that he was going to Glasgow.

The other rumour is that Gray is retiring.

Wilco Louw signed his deal in 2020. It really depends whether it was a two or three year deal.

fyi - most of the info is on the Squads / contracts / injuries list https://comeallwithin.createaforum.com/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=15

Jones would certainly in my view be worth one more season as he’s shown lately more good than bad, and has calmed down his charges into contact resulting in an easy holding on pen.

Louw would also be a big loss. He can go with the best of them and against Genge was more than up for the job

Shame to lose, Tigard and Jones and really hope both Louw and Symons stay on

One of the Quins players interviewed after yesterday's game made a comment about it being the last time that some players might play at the Stoop. Not sure who or what he meant.

My guess -

Tizard
Gray
Wallace
Jones

Potential Louw and Symmons

Symons is retiring isn't he?

Sorry - my spelling. But is he retiring - has this been confirmed?

I'm hoping that both Louw and Symonds contracts will be signed up ad delivered soon, to encourage ST sales, as they do most years...

I thought he was OOC, but I could well be wrong (so basically I am no help)

Any news on Wilco does he have another year or are we likely to lose him, I really hope not he’s a great player and bringing the best out of Collier.
