From another thread -

It's a bit of a faff but if you start it on the app or on the Quins site there's a Watch on Youtube option. Once you've started it it's then in your history and you can watch on your tv (if it does Youtube). For some reason they've hidden it on normal Youtube but once it's in your history you can click on it.

The club thinks it attracts a younger audience than YouTube.

Do they think that young people wouldn't watch if they thought it was on YouTube too? That would be a weird thing.

It would appear that us “ Old.  Un’s” aren’t the desired audience

I signed up for tiktok just because of this nonsense, but all those damned emojis that keep floating up past the video are a pain in the bottom. (There's a function that detaches the video from the page that gets rid of that, but why can't they just stream it on youtube for us old people?)

I've noticed in the past that if the game is being shown "on the app" it's still hosted on YouTube but set to private, so it's possible we'll be able to get the YouTube link to watch without all the TikTok stuff interfering

Can't agree with you on that one, Dr. I'd prefer CCS at 8. I can't argue that he's no Dombrandt but I think he'll really want to stake a claim and push for England starts and we may well see him start to be more consistent. Assuming we can fix his hands, of course.

I hope that CCS can become the player that his promise suggests, but I have yet to see it. He is tremendously capable and could play anywhere from 4-8, but I am always left a little unconvinced. I think that the promise element is why he has appeared in numerous England squads but is not a nailed on starter.

I'd really like to see him settle on a preferred position - maybe 8, could be elsewhere - and develop there.

Re Chis - I just like his whole hearted approach, and I hope that he bounces back from his run of injuries to regain a spot. He is a tremendous option, especially with Lawday having moved on.

On the Harlequins app and Tik Tok according to a face book posting.

Thanks - will find some younger members of the household to sort that out for me then.

CCS, Chis and Kenningham would be a very physical back row. If Chis can stay fit, he should be first choice. He's a better 8 than CCS. But of course, it's a very big "IF"...

And perhaps notable absentees:

Titi
H.Williams
Fin still not ready seemingly which is a shame

And Chisholm. Was hoping that he could slot in at 8 while Dombrandt is off.

No sign of our Saffer prop either.

He's fresh from the Currie Cup. It's not quite the level he'll need to be at.

We already look thin at inside centre, with only bradley and Kerr, Lang injured last week and Waghorn not fit yet.

Hope we go with a strong XV, my pick.

1. Hobson
2. Walker
3. Johnson-Holmes
4. Petti
5. Treadwell
6. CCS
7. Evans
8. Schmid
9 Friday
10. Smith
11. Murley
12. Bradley
13. Beard
14. Isgro
15. Furbank

Petti seems to be a better operator at 6 than second row, so would like to see him there, with Elliot at lock and CCS at 8.

Harlequins have today named an extended squad that will be involved against Edinburgh Rugby on Friday night at The Stoop.

You can join us at The Stoop by purchasing your ticket here.

Having started the season with two bonus-point victories in the PREM Rugby Cup, a number of international players are now set to run out in The Quarters for the first time this season.

International contingent Boris Wenger, Pedro Delgado, Guido Petti Pagadizábal, Chandler Cunningham-South, Marcus Smith, Cadan Murley, Rodrigo Isgro and Luke Northmore are all set for their first appearances of the season, whilst fans can also look forward to seeing new recruits George Furbank and Eddie Siguake in a Harlequins shirt for the first time.

There are also first involvements in the match day side this campaign for Ollie Streeter, Sam Riley, Jimmy Staples, Zach Carr, Elliot Williams, Tate Williams and Lucas Friday.

The rest of the squad have all featured in the opening two rounds of the PREM Rugby Cup.

Tickets for Friday night’s fixture are still available here.

Supporters will also have the opportunity to be one of the first to purchase their Big Game 18 shirt from the Club Shop on Friday evening as well, with the kit due to be released on Friday 18th September.
