Fissler has gone for the full monty of all our signings as Gussie has said he will announce them when HE is ready
Michele Campagnaro from Wasps
Brett Heron fly half from Jersey
Garcia Botta l/h prop Argentina
Martin Ladajo scrum half Argentina
Scott Baldwin hooker
glen Young NEWCASTLE lock
RG Snyman SA lock
Well let’s wait and see what Gussie says on Tue how right or wrong he is!
Anyone opening a book?
-
All would be good signings if true
-
I guess Fissler thinks Quins aren't after Will Evans from Leicester. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gustard try to go back to Sarries for Kpoku

Isn’t it Wednesday @Monte?

No real surprises there except for Heron and Campagnaro. I thought we might bring in a FH but expected us to go for experience, just to help guide the younger two along, seems we have gone the other way (Not knocking the bloke, just a surprise). There has been talk we are after a centre so I can only guess one is on the move, of our four "main" ones I would imagine Laskie. Presume he would have only signed a one year deal when he joined (although I cant recall Salli ever re signing, however, if he was leaving I think there would have been whispers by now).
I still do not think that is it for us. As mentioned above Evans was mentioned pretty much everywhere. I expect a back row will join, maybe, just maybe one other but that depends on who is going (position wise)

Campagnaro would be an unexpected and great signing, especially with Alofa leaving. Can cover centre and wing, a proven international performer and, now injury-free, a class act. Only caveat is that Marchant has been close to our player of the season and our wings have generally been excellent, and Campagnaro will expect to be a regular starter and not just a squad player. He’s only 25 so his international days will continue for another RWC cycle. Interesting bit of business, and competition for places is no bad thing at all. If Saili stays (no reason to think otherwise at this stage), some really tasty centre options there for next season: Marchant, Campagnaro, Saili, Tapuai, plus Lang can slot in at 12 and Ibitoye played a lot of age grade rugby at 13. A real area of strength already is set to be strengthened. Excellent

That's an interesting list for sure. Lets see if even half of them come true.
Baldwin seems like one of those worst kept secret ones so wouldn't be surprised if that came to fruition. Don't know an awful lot about the two Argentinians but SH cover is badly needed and LH prop cover will be when Boycie leaves and if Lambo retires as expected.
Would never say no to Campagnaro, think he'd fit in well and RG Snyman fits the monster lock requirement well. Glen Young and Brett Heron would be decent cover really.
-
Snyman would be a superb signing, and Campagnaro too. I was thinking yesterday how good he looks, a real handful, and a solid defender.
-
Snyman really would be a game-changer for us.
I think Campagnaro would be a great signing too - nobody seems to have been able to get the best out of him in the premiership but I think he would suit us down to the ground.
-
More excited by the Snyman one than the others. Proper big lump but still a good player.
Having said that cover at 9 is needed and lh will be too if we're without Boyce and Lambert. Not sure we need cover in the centres really unless one of our main guys is off. Perhaps they are?

Two positive comments from rodders on one post? Red wine and thumping France can change even the bitterest men

TML.

TML.
Trying more love?
-
Something like that.
-
I wouldn't object to many of them
Landajo, Snyman especially, not adverse to Baldwin either
I wonder who we are losing
-
Maybe arniepie can shed further light on the rumours?

Landajo is a good player, but also approaching 31, so not a long term replacement for Care.
Meanwhile, Worcester have (re)signed Jonno Kitto. I would have been happy to see him return.
