Yes please!
-
Wow would love to see this. I don't think it will happen (just being pessimistic) but would love to be proven wrong!
-
Curious article - total spitballing.
-
that is really a slow news day story, pure speculation
-
"Should" dust off their chequebooks...
-
Would be a good signing. But I fear the French may be at the front of the queue.
-
It depends a lot on whether he's been told he has a chance of a place in the RWC squad. Our "deal" may give us a head start, ass we will no doubt agree to any terms re how often he's played, special releases etc (and stumping up any fines that incurs a la North & Saints) which other clubs may baulk at.
-
He's reliably been included in NZ matchday squads (11 times in the last 12 months). I would be amazed if he was overlooked for the RWC. Who'd take his place? Todd?
-
On the one hand, it's pure speculation... but on the other hand, the process that brought us Nick Evans began very similarly - and these days we have stronger ties with NZR, plus Fitzy and Snapper himself to fly the quartered flag.
Savea would be a great addition and not necessarily "in competition" with our existing back row players given our injury track record and the need to manage game time for Chris and some of the others. However, this particular one is very much a chicken who cannot be counted until it's hatched.
-
Pure speculation. Looks very much like am article on behalf of an agent. I suspect talk of foreign moves and offers is merely a full to use to increase potential salary. Not that we sound avoid at such a player provided we can afford it.

The sticks are quite good and not horrendously expensive. I often wear them in my motorcycle boots.
Too far, not a runrig can either. If it was Big Country.....
Tmo is generally a food thing but I agree it gets annoying when they go back 7 or 8 phases and spend 10 minutes making a decision on stuff. I think especially that the try yes or no shouldn't be done. Grounding, or any reason I can't is fine. IMHO but the whole ref not having a clue is just silly.
Rocky, you need a better spellchucker, or something ..

Fair enough 😋 Small screen, fat fingers... They are mostly real words, just maybe not quite the right ones 🤔

:D
Made me think of this ... https://youtu.be/R7GeKLE0x3s?t=10m39s

if we don’t get Savea ,we certainly need to recruit another back row forward we can not relie on Ward to cover all the time he can do the job ,but is a little light for my liking
-
Is it me or has everyones 'Speeling' and 'Graymar' got worse since we moved boards? Dok must go!!!!!
Bad spellers of the world untie!
This is not Wendyball, money and agent sensationalist stories don't quite work in Rugby. He is definitely a part of the All Blacks squad and it would be a big gamble to move to the Premiership if he courts international ambitions and playing at the world cup. After that though, who knows. Would be a great replacement for the Robshaw's when he decides to stop.

Morecambe and Wise with Andre Previn (1971).
- Previn: "You're playing all the wrong notes"
- Morecambe: "I'm playing all the right notes ... but not necessarily in the right order."

Whilst the whole Andrew Preview sketch is a masterpiece, I still think that this was Eric Morecambe's finest few seconds:

I would reply "Next!" but we already have a word association thread. Let's not antagonise those who are not so fond of it by creating a new one here, folks...

Mea culpa. I did knowingly punnify a thread before the requisite time period had elapsed. A thousand apologies

Ah, if it had been a pun, I'd have joined in! But I thought it was more along the lines of the Word Association rather than a pun, and I thought it best to just raise the touch judges' flag on it a bit before there was a case of huff-taking
;)
