Visions of people in Harley and Charlie suits running round a rugby pitch! :)

Probably play better than some of the pro's.....

I miss the original format, where there were qualifying rounds at various grounds before a final. It gave more people a chance to go & see some 7s. I guess it's down to the WRU & the Regions pulling back from Anglo-Welsh competitions as a whole...

The sort of tournament that makes a nice free day out as an addition to the season ticket, but doesn't merit a journey to Northampton.

I don't know why this appeals to me so much less than the Floodlit Sevens, but it does (or rather doesn't). Don't fancy trying to make Northampton by 19:00 on a Friday.
(FRIDAY):
17:30 – Bristol Bears v Sale Sharks
17:53 – Bath Rugby v Worcester Warriors
18:15 – Saracens v Newcastle
18:38 – Northampton Saints v Gloucester Rugby
19:00 – Harlequins v Bristol Bears
19:23 – Exeter Chiefs v Worcester Warriors
19:45 – Newcastle v Leicester Tigers
20:08 – Wasps v Gloucester Rugby
20:30 – Harlequins v Sale Sharks
20:53 – Exeter Chiefs v Bath Rugby
21:15 – Saracens v Leicester Tigers
21:38 – Northampton Saints v Wasps
Best two from each pool go through to play presumably qtr/semi/final (+3rd place playoff?) on Saturday
The plate will be the losing team from each pool presumably playing semi/final (+3rd place playoff?)
