Title: Ben Tapuai
Post by: guest694 on Sunday 26-Jan-2020, 22:40*
What a thoroughly nice bloke he is! Chatted with my son and I for a good while before the game.
I asked him how his recovery is going. He said he’s nearly there but more importantly he mentioned that there will be about 5 or 6 all coming back at around the end of Feb including (from memory):

Ben Tapuai
Francis Sailli
James Lang
Nathan Earle
Will Evans
Scott Baldwin

It will be good to see Earle back.

Sounds positive but still lots of rugby to go before the end of Feb!
Thought I saw Will Evans out training with the squad pre-game so hopefully he is close to a come back but really we need those centres and hookers back!!

Glad to hear he's a good sort.

Everybody on that list has something to offer when they return.

End of Feb is a way off, but we’ve only got two Premiership games during that time and a lot of other teams are harder hit by call-ups than we are.

We’ve got LI at home on the 15th and then Bath away on the 22nd. I’m hoping for 8+ points.

Saints mugged at home by LI last week (with Saints a player short?) and Bath will be up for revenge, having lost the last 3 or 4 games against us. Bearing in mind injury/absentee list, I'd settle for 6 pts from the two, but 9 would be great!
