Title: Big Game Group Ticket Sales
Post by: Banstead Quin on Wednesday 03-Oct-2018, 11:14*
So, for the 3rd year running, Quins send an e-mail saying a discount of 20% on group tickets for Big Game go on sale at 9am this morning. I knew it would be busy but it appears they didn't!

I got through to the overflow line at 9:02 and they took my details and said that someone will call me back. 2 hours later and I've had to call back again. They've taken my details but continued to answer incoming calls rather than call back those who called earlier.

Very poor!

Surely they call people back once the lines have calmed down. Otherwise they will spend all day playing catch up

No, it should be a virtual queue otherwise those who got answered miss out on good tickets whilst someone who calls now is getting an advantage. Either leave everyone hanging on in a queue or have someone dedicated to calling people back!

No.

Phone rings. Answer it. Deal with query, question, enquiry, booking, whatever, complete transaction in one call. Replace telephone.

Phone rings, Answer it, etc and repeat.

My way, one phone call, one question dealt with from start to finish.

Your way, every query has an absolute minimum of two phone calls.
