Kyle Eastmond is released? I always thought highly of him. Strange if he isn't snapped up.

Jake Hennessey is at Cambridge (French and Ancient Greek) winning Blues and playing for the Blood and Sand in National 1 after December.
He was also called up for England in the European 7s series in Moscow.

I thought Twomey was off to Ealing.

I'm not sure where this rumour came from, but I've found nothing to confirm it. As far as I'm aware we've heard nothing about Gray or Twomey

Maybe I was getting it mixed up with other names that were said to be going to Ealing.

Very strange. Twomey was excellent when fit.

Very strange. Twomey was excellent when fit.

Maybe that is the problem, not fit??

You'd think he might be able to get a pay as a you play deal, or at least season or two in the championships. He's just got married too I think - would have been a nice wedding present!

That's a shame if he does.

Would we want to take any of the released players on a "play for pay" deal?

At the very least they'd have a club to keep fit with, and be looked after, whilst they look for more permanent positions.

Looking at that list, Ealing must have replaced virtually an entire squad

Maybe they need something more secure than pay as you play, or they do not want to have to uproot and move?? Might mean having to step away for a bit and find more secure work??

Are zero hours contracts permitted? Sounds a bit Uber to me considering all the rules in Premiership?

Wasn't he the one that targeted Smith and nearly separated his head from his shoulders?

Yes I think it was. Got a red for his trouble didn't he?

Also remember Luamanu's reaction, he wasn't happy with Eastmond at all.

Fissler now saying he's in talk with Tiggers. Not signed a contract yet, thought.

Eastmond's had disciplinary problems in the past and is a very spiky character. Would probably suit Tigers though.
