I am assuming that the game on Saturday isn't televised. I can't see it in the TV listings.
I don't think that the game is on RugbyPass. I am assuming that there may be cameras for recording the highlights only. So, I'm assuming that it won't be streamed anywhere (but please update me if it is anywhere 0 or if it will be shown at any pubs @Cookie??)
I have checked the radio schedule of BBC Bristol. There is sport on on Saturday afternoon, but they are covering multiple events. Bristol v Saints is also being played on Saturday afternoon.
So, is there any way of following the match either on TV or radio?
- - - or, is it a case of following on Twitter?
-
A key will be whether they announce a TMO as part of the reffing team. If they have a TMO, that means multiple cameras & the chance that it'll stream on something like Paddy Power or Cric Free. Otherwise if it's a single fixed camera for highlights, it'll probably be a case of follow it on Twitter.
-
I cant imagine anyone gives a stuff about this competition enough to send a camera to it other than for minimal highlights.
-
Bath have covered some A League games on twitter/facebook so a slim chance there perhaps.
-
I really cannot get in any way excited about this competition. If we make it throigh to the knock out stages I will, but until then it's bascially just the A league. I like the A league and go to the matches, but can't get excited the way I would about a proper cup
-
Let us have the debate about whether this new cup is worth playing for in another thread.
Let us keep this thread on topic about investigating whether there will be any coverage of the game.

Fair enough. Apologies.
-
If there is a feed, I'll find it and stream it in the Prince of Wales. Let's see if there's a TMO announced/streams mentioned.

Sorry T-Bone. I realise that my posting reads a little like a telling off.
I just get a little tense when I am trying to work out if I have a good excuse to go to Cookie's local for a few pints

Ha, no worries.

Why do you need an excuse??

Channel 5 have a one hour highlights show on Monday at 7pm.
-
Thank you!
-
Are any of the games being shown?

Are any of the games being shown?
None of the Challenge Cup games were shown live last weekend so presume the same
Ignore that ! .. just noticed that Sarries Tigers are on Saturday afternoon , so presume there will others..
-
Looking through the listings it looks pretty much like a standard Prem weekend with select games shown, Quins game at Bath is not one of them however.
-
It’s on BBC Radio Bristol from 2.
-
VIPLeague currently has a link for a stream of the game. When the time comes &'ll give it a try & let folks know if it's working...
-
Nothing listed on Sportsdonkey on Kodi. I've also been drafted in to play this afternoon, so won't be able to stream in the PoW anyway, I'm afraid.
-
Our match next Sunday v Falcons is on BT!
-
The VIPLeague link isn't working. Sorry.
-
Apparently it is on BBC Somerset dab. I just don't know how to receive it
-
Useless innit?
-

-
3 minutes to go

Last minute or so, should be our game now.
-
Time's up. Quins win 27 to Bath's 19

Hoorah

Good stuff. Not sure how the lineups compared in terms of strength and experience but good win away from home either way, especially playing with 14 men for 20 mins (depending on when we got the second yellow)
-
Thank goodness. I was getting worried towards the end until Bath gifted us a pen
-
A good result. I presume it was Alofa who was injured when Lasike came on, the commentators (who were dreadful) didn't bother to let us know. We do seem to have a big problem with rolling mauls.
-
The commentators really were dreadful. Clearly they hadn't bothered to learn any names of the Quins players. They didn't know the difference between Walker and Chis. They didn't know Adam Jones' name. And, they didn't say what was happening on the pitch.
-
Love one of the official photos from the game of PG as water boy. Love his full involvement.
If anyone went to the game love to know how the Cat, Clifford and Sailli played.
-
Second hand I hear Dombrandt was very good despite yellow.
-
Gustard was really getting involved in the warm ups for the Agen game too. It read great to see.
-
Enjoyed the game.. Quins backs significantly stronger than Bath on the day, looked really good. Our back row also excellent. Without the yellows, it could have been a bigger win. Cruising with 20 to go.
Liked gustard being the water boy. That shows something.
-
Has Bruce Craig demanded a replay yet???
-
Anything up in the way of highlights anywhere?

Has Bruce Craig demanded a replay yet???
As they lost I think he has a very strong case.

Judging but The Rugby Paper’s match report/ratings, it sounds as though Cat had a good game with Dombrandt being the other stand-out player. No real detail around Saili and Clifford but fairly good ratings.
I’m excited about Dombrandt. Looks like we’re seeing him as a 6 rather than a lock, but his versatility means he’s a handy player to have.
-
From what I was able to listen to on the BBC it sounded like a decent game. However I would like to see the Picture of PG Acting as a water Boy.

Having just watched the highlights, it's good to see us keeping up with tradition and conceding all 3 tries from driving mauls.
