Title: Eng V Australia tickets avail
Post by: Gone on Tuesday 13-Nov-2018, 14:38*
(Avoiding starting that other chat again -- for useful info only....)

If you know anyone in the England Supporters Club they are now entitled to buy up to 8 tickets for Eng v Oz.

The RFU says rest will go on public sale if not taken up.

Few singles in upper tier at £80.

Lots of seats together at £100 in lower tier corners.

Lots of seats together at £118 in middle tier decent parts of the ground.

Few pairs and singles in premium at £132

Disgraceful that the great unwashed may get another chance to see England. I mean, what schools did they attend?

What on earth are you talking about, BB?

Thanks for the info, BQ. So it seems that just about all of the tickets left are what the RFU consider Cat 1 or Cat 2, most of which I'd say used to be Cat 3 and some Cat 2.

Away in Worc night before so unlikely to be back in time, shame that’s not a bad price

As for BB’s comment I’m assuming anyone that paid their £30 to join supporters club, must be rolling in it and is therefore depriving those that couldn’t be arsed to spend £30 but will still no doubt moan that they can never get a ticket

No, I think he means that the OP makes it sound like the RFU are desperate to sell the tickets to supporters club members, otherwise they are threatening to sell to the public.

It's a joke.

I like the fact that some tickets have gone on general sale. Had I not had my mum's birthday I would have gone to the South Africa Game, last week I already booked house viewings, this weekend all my rugby friends are busy and next week is my other half's birthday otherwise I would like to have gone to at least one of the games.

I never get them on Quins ballot and never got them when was a RFU supporters club member years ago. If they are going on general sale again I wont need to be a member anymore. I do wonder though if the fact they are starting to be some going over to general sale will mean that people will drop out of the supporters club and wait for them to be available on general sale.

There is a job going as Head of Excuses.

I think you just got it.
