There we go.  Dombrandt runs some lovely lines.  Also, its great to have a line out that is turning into a bit of a weapon, rather than a chance to lose the ball

I hope we're all going to be cheering Stade Francais tomorrow! If they can keep Worcester from a 4 try bonus point win, then we would have a home semi-final...

Very silly from Joe there. Such a shame he has these ridiculous brainfarts - he's had a stormer otherwise.

Well defended in the lineout from 5 metres out from our tryline. Turn the ball over and give away a dumb penalty.
Have to do it all again, this time we manage to win a scrum.
Title: Re: Match Thread - Agen v Quins
Post by: Tonbridge Quin on Friday 18-Jan-2019, 20:01
The throw to the back of the line out still seems to be our weak spot

Think Danny is certainly trying to prove a point to Eddie tonight

Agen have no idea what to do with Care! Ref has been good.

Gussy's really done a job on this squad. I know it's Agen but the difference compared to last season is marked.

Everyone coming off the bench has had impact (special mention for Bothma who has had looked very aggressive in attack and defence) and none of the starters have had a bad game. Brownie and Marler monumental. Crumpton, Symons, Clifford and Dombrandt have kept us going forward. Wallace has made tackle after tackle and at least 2 turnovers. Moments of brilliance from Care. Our 2nd choice centres haven't looked out of place. Both wingers popping up all over the place and a try each for their efforts. Really good to see whole squad buy-in.

Shame this last 10 is tarnishing an otherwise great effort. Agen certainly making the most of the extra man

Lots of changes, player down, game over. seems like we have lost our shape/concentration.

Well done Quins! Some really delightful attacking play, and not just the tries. Well done to the fans who were there, as well. Loud and proud!

Gussy, enjoy a glass of vino (or a protein shake, if you prefer) this squad is really taking shape nicely! Well done to you too!

Pleased that those that were there making the noise were noticed, thanks for the support. Nice of the whole 23 to make the trip across the pitch to thank us too. Shame not more Agen support evident. Poor turnout. Probably why you could hear us at home. We were most definitely the louder. But, made to feel welcome in the town all day and in the ground. Appreciate that Agen.
