ComeAllWithin Board / Re: Ibitoye rumoured to Agen

It sounds probable that Gabs has been offered lesser terms, same as some but not all, and has been given a period to accept or not. The Agen offer pressures the club to revise those terms or a way out if they donít. Makes commercial sense for him, but either way canít see that a grumbling young Quin will be good for the team or that a move to Agen will be good for his rugby, which should be his priority right now. Extraordinary athlete but so much rugby know-how to develop. Surely he and his advisors can see that?

I'm a firm believer that if a player wants out, let them go. Having someone in the squad that doesn't want to be there can be a very negative influence.

Normally i find it hard to side with the player, as they sign a contract and should be expected to fulfill it. But these are strange times, and if he's been asked to take a pay cut, that can be a big factor - depending on the size of the cut, versus what he may be offered elsewhere.

Of the five players released by Leicester Iíd say Greg Bateman would actually be the most useful addition to our squad.

That said, I think Quins might be better off focussing available resources on keeping Ibitoye and finding another Scrum Half.

They are. If they feel they aren't, there are laws that can be enforced. But lket's face it - we all feel unfairly treated at some point; but some of us can't blame it on ethnicity.

stupidity?

My best guess is: when minority ethnic people are treated fairly in all aspects of life.

He was in a clip doing sprint drills and also in the background hitting a pad in a Insta post by Lang. I recognised him by his haircut.

The picture Lang posted was from the first week back at training - it had been posted previously.

And if this is the video you're talking about, Gabs doesn't appear in it: https://twitter.com/Harlequins/status/1278992749346291713

QC is right - Lennox Anyawu is perhaps who you saw (at 00:09). The effects on the video do make it hard to ID players in fairness.

You only have to watch how long it takes the people in the East Stand to return to their seats after half time. Because they would rather be swilling booze in the hospitality area than watching a cracking game of rugby.

That or the fact that Twickenham is an awful stadium with poor facilities.

obviously not true of all but I would say a heck of a lot if not majority are casual fans at best which is my point. It is also a bugbear of mine because these are the guys that are always getting up, chatting through the game and generally just need to be in the pub. But hey weíve all got our pet hates.
