MASSAOKE RETURN FOR BIG SUMMER KICK-OFF
Harlequins are thrilled to confirm that live singalong band Massaoke will return to Big Summer Kick-Off for the third consecutive year as Quins take on Northampton Saints on Saturday 27 April.
Massaoke will light up Twickenham Stadium with a high tempo half-time performance, before leading the post-match party in the West Fan Village with some of the greatest hits and singalong anthems from the last few decades.
Harlequins CEO Laurie Dalrymple said: “We’re delighted to announce the return of Massaoke for another spectacular performance at Big Summer Kick-Off. Last year we had more than 5,000 supporters pack the West Fan Village for their post-match singalong, and with such incredible feedback from our supporters it was a no brainer to welcome them back this year for another huge half-time and post-match show.”
Massaoke singer and drummer Mat Factor said: "We can’t wait to come back to the home of English Rugby. Over the past 12 months we have completed an amazing world tour, playing in some of the biggest cities in front of huge crowds, alongside performing at some of the UK’s biggest music festivals, including Latitude, Secret Garden and Hogmanay in Edinburgh. But Big Summer Kick-Off has a very special place in our hearts and the energy of the West Fan Village singalong lives long in the memory!”
