I would expect a quality DoR to develop a style of rugby that suits the players at their disposal. We're not south Africa so I wouldn't expect him to make us copy their approach.

I’d say there are more coaches who believe in their system above all else and demand that the players fit that rather than developing a gameplan for what they have.
I know Gustard wasn’t DoR, but he came in and tried to make us in to Saracens MkII and we know how that worked out ... Erasmus is obviously a lot more experienced and successful than Gustard, but I really don’t want to see us make another mistake with a similarly prosaic, ‘system’ based coach.
