Interestingly it seems none of the guys who’ve been turning out for Richmond featured in their match against Hartpury yesterday.
A few familiar names on the team sheet for Roslyn Park today though:

Half time score wasn’t a good sign of our boys influence. Then again you only need a couple of weak points in your team to make a big difference.

There is a story in TRP today about a new partnership between us and Scottish about to be announced. Sole use of our payers next season, shared training possibly, swapping of ideas etc. Bit like the Bedford/Saints set up.

Scottish are having a dire season -where I understand it is great for fringe players to get regular game time, I don't believe getting hammered most weeks does much for individual confidence so it is a mixed positive.....

I did think the same however no matter the class it is difficult for any player to jump into a team without training with them for a period of time. Maybe this would start a change of fortunes for Scottish and then be a shorty while place to send our lads to gain experience game time and confidence.

In fairness, Hammond and Juruvicius played quite a bit for Scottish at the start of the season and if anything looks to have done them the world of good.

Not sure Tualani actually played as he was on the plane with the HC squad.

To be honest the way London Scottish are playing this season it makes little difference if the players are on the pitch or not.

Given the result of RP against Chinnor, and Jersey v Scottish, what does that say about the state of the academy?
Though that could be more to do with settled sides playing disrupted ones.

Dont think it says a great deal tbh

Scottish really are dire, and I dare say without a few of our boys this season they would have been humped even more.  As mentioned elsewhere, Hammond and Juruvicius have also played for them this season and they have been excellent in the first team.  I think the regular rugby is doing our academy boys the world of good, same for those at Richmond.
