He could start a row with himself. He looked like he wanted to throttle the interviewer. Deadpan and no nonsense.

He looked like he had a cut across his head. When Ford came up to congratulate him and put his head against his he pushed him away.

Don't know what made him so angry but your right that interview was fantastic. For those who haven't seen it or just want the pleasure of watching it again:-

Top interview. Didn't really notice him being angry. Maybe just pumped up?

He's played well in both appearances so far. Can't say I thought Mako did that much

Very similar character to Kyle now understand the big influence he has had on him. Same background just different city.

Maybe it was just the realisation that he was going to be interviewed by Sonja McLaughlan.

There were definitely some bodies piling in after he touched down - could well have been he took a knock, hence what looked like a cut.

He’s a bit of a dick going on about people having the gall to criticise the team. Why shouldn’t people criticise that performance against France?

Using his logic no one will ever be allowed to critique the England’s team performance

I think he was poking fun at the over the top criticism after one game.

I think you may be right, Deadly, however, he did come across a bit surly and belligerent in my eyes. (where's the shrug icon?!)

Maybe he’s just not comfortable in front of the camera and goes into “ be serious and don’t swear mode”. Not everyone enjoys the cameras in the aftermath of a match.
