Yet to agree a new deal with Exeter. TRP reporting us, sale and wasps are keeping tabs.  All 3 have a big name hooker on their shopping lists for next season!!!

Why he would even consider leaving Exeter is beyond me certainly won’t come to a button three club

Playing for Quins might increase his England chances and it also depends on the money.

Money will be tight at Exeter....they will be facing a lot of players demanding more money and this will cause problems getting under the cap as contracts come up for renewal.

I think the opposite will be the case at Quins as we off load some of our high earners post world cup or simply tell them they are not worth the money as our performances have been poor.

As long as we don't get relegated I think we'll be in a strong position to sign quality players while letting big (underperforming) players go...(Marler, Sink, Clifford, MB, DC etc)

Yep, Mike Brown has been terrible this season, as has Sink. How many games have they been terrible in?

You miss the point - You could pay 3 quality club players what 2 players take up in the cap. The club needs to move on from the past and quickly from what I've witnessed taking place at Welford Rd in the first half.

MB is a club legend but you can't tell me last yr was a stellar one.

I really rate LCD but he’s not the kind of hooker we need.

I’d sacrifice his carrying game for someone who is a strong scrummager and an accurate lineout thrower with a decent work rate.

TRP were also linking Tommy Taylor with a move too. Of the two, I’d prefer Taylor.

I doubt either would sign for us anyway.

Personally I think we should be targeting Jack Singleton from Worcester or give one of Tom Cruse or Mikey Haywood the chance to be first choice.
