Mike Brown vs RIL
« on: »
Last night, Brown posted the following on Twitter

article
X (formerly Twitter) · twitter.com

RIL inside line then followed it up by saying something along the lines of "all is not well at Quins" etc etc, citing Browns tweet, plus what Marler had said about Prem Rugby having protocols in relation to the LI/Gloucs/Skivington saga) and the fact Ibitoye is rumoured to be off.

Brown responded by telling RIL to stop making things up from nothing etc.  RIL has since deleted so you cannot see.

Interesting how things can get twisted and made into a "story" when, according to Brown, there is nothing there.  If he had not replied the rumours no doubt would have kicked in.

The problem with Twatter is that it makes people think their views are important.

(Just like mine here!).

Agreed, although I do find it useful in a sporting sense, for rumours, news etc

That I can just about understand. It's when we have (as an example) Gary Lineker twatting his views on Brexit that I wonder about some people's views on their own importance.

RIL has form of winding players up and in cases their partners, last year it was Savea and his wife. The guy does not like Quins either so he will always look for anything negative about the club.
