True, but perhaps having been the defence coach at Harlequins helped land the job. Anyway, wish him all the best, hope it works out and he gets to show what he can do.

I hope he's a success, not a bad place to go for a few years.

So far it appears he's just there for the Currie Cup competition. It may lead to a longer term deal, but it's not certain by any means.

Good for him. I won't be at all surprised if Minty makes a success of this appointment - and I hope he does...... and then comes back to us in a few years time. If I recall correctly, he  played some club rugby in South Africa before he went to Orrell and Quins. The Wanderers?
