"We will communicate shortly with our supporters about how we will select those that are able to attend this match. We are sure they will understand that it is impossible to get everyone into the stadium for this pilot and we must have a selection process.

"We do of course hope that this pilot leads to further matches and increased numbers of supporters which will enable us to get as many supporters as possible into The Stoop, as soon as possible. At this stage, we ask our supporters to hold for further information which will come shortly while we wait for final details from DCMS."

Well Sunday’s performance better be better than last evening or some of us will pay good money NOT to go!

I see there is a ballot for 19/20 season members so that the lucky ones can PURCHASE a ticket for £30 north /south stands or £50 east/west stands. I’ve already renewed for next year and didn’t ask for a refund for this and my loyalty is being repaid by having to buy a ticket for a game I’ve already paid for.
But after reading the communication more carefully having had it pointed out to me I’ve discovered that they aren’t charging people who donated after all. Good luck in the draw everyone.

Which I think is totally fair.
