Can anyone remember a player getting swapped out that early in a game for "tactical reasons"?

When he come off, I thought he had a nasty knock/bruise on his face/head.  Seems not the reason though.

I'm think it's happened  this early before, I just can't recall the specifics. EJ hooked Burrell for Ford a few years ago although I'm sure it was later than 15 minutes in.

I remember Teimana Harrison getting hauled off by Eddie early on a couple of years ago as well.

Apparently he has a few injury issues but I’m personally not impressed with him since he’s arrived so wouldn’t be surprised if it was tactical

I might be getting my wires crossed here, but aren't there reasons why with front row replacements you might want to say they are for tactical reasons rather than for injury - i.e being able to bring that player back later if required?

We took him off because we were getting renamed in the scrum. Elia can obviously push harder - but his throwing is even worse.
