Id feel better with with Dombrandt being away if we had Tuiani here.  Dombrandts carrying will be a big loss.  I thought they only miss 1 game anyway??

How long are Marler/Dombrandt/Smith potentially away for?

I'm guessing we won't see them for the Sarries game and possibly Bath too.

Erm, unless they’re dropped you won’t see them until mid December after the rest period following their release to England

I think they’ll all play both the Bath and Sarries games.

Also South Africa announced their squad this morning as there are no Quins players to be seen in it which is great news for us. But baffled by their treatment of Louw and it giving him any real game time and then also their blinkered approach to Esterhuizen. But with no Smith, having Esterhuizen around is vital to our chances

Sure I heard that England players head off to Jersey on Sunday/Monday for a 5 day camp.  I cant imagine any players will be available for next weeks games

They'll all play Bath as camp doesn't start until after the matches on Sunday as honkytonk says. We may see some of the 'not needed for Tonga' guys released for Sarries but wouldn't be surprised if all 3 of our guys are kept in.

I can’t believe there’s no Quins in the SA squad. I thought Louw would have been a guaranteed selection considering Malherbe is out with injury.

Well that is excellent news for us as with Marler away we need Wilco even more

It says something about SA's strength in depth that they can afford to have players of that quality on the margins. But I guess it's very similar to where NZ were with Carter and Evans. Eligibility aside, Snapper would have been snapped up by any team in the world except the one he was eligible for.

Louw and Esterhuizen are in a similar position. If they were EQP, I would even expect Eddie to pick them. Louw maybe offers less overall than Sinck at his absolute best, but I'd have him over the rest of the England THs today. And Andre is the kind of player England have been crying out for at 12 (and as an aside, is the kind of player that Matt Banahan could have been if he'd been consistently played at 12 - he only played there in a couple of matches but I thought it was so obviously the right position for him I was baffled he didn't play there more often).

Jamie George missing out seems very strange.

He's a potential card at the moment - EJ probably just waiting for him to calm down and focus on his game rather than getting mad at everything.

I also think he wants them (a few Sarries players) to get fitter and get more premiership rugby under their belt and I'd suggest he'll/they'll be back for 6Ns. This years AIs are a bit more experimental but he'll want to have all firing by the 6N with a view to winning it and not being shown up as they were last year.

Think Eddie likes the Saracens anger, to be honest!

Now Watson is ruled out, I wonder if Lynagh or Marchant gets a gig

Watson withdrawn and Marchant called up in his place. Thought it would have been Lynagh but congrats to Joe.
