HARLEQUINS’ COACHING TEAM HAVE NAMED AN UNCHANGED STARTING XV TO HOST BATH AT THE STOOP THIS WEEKEND AS SUPPORTERS RETURN

There are just two changes to the Club’s match day squad that travelled to Leicester Tigers earlier this month, with back row Archie White replacing the injured James Chisholm on the bench in the 20 jersey.

Also, amongst the Impact Players, outside back Aaron Morris returns to the match day squad for the first time since March since, replacing Will Edwards in the 23 jersey.

With the Club looking to secure a spot in this year’s Gallagher Premiership semi-finals with back-to-back wins over Bath, General Manager Billy Millard said: “We face a challenge in the shape of Bath this week. They’re traditionally a team with a relatively even balance of forward power and skilful backs; and we felt that the last time we played them at The Stoop.

“While we are in a different place now to that game last September, we have been working hard over the last fortnight to cover all our bases to give ourselves the best possible run-in to the end of the regular season, with securing our playoff spot the ultimate goal in the short-term.

“I’ve been impressed with the way the team has overcome adversity over the last few months. With red cards, injuries and suspensions doing their best to halt our progression, the boys stood back, took a breath and pressed on. That resilience is the kind of mental toughness required to win at the highest level and I’m proud to say I have full faith in the team’s ability to go forward and finish this season on a positive.”

I would definitely have Tapuai starting after his cameo against Leicester but hope Lang proves me wrong.

Im glad Obano is not playing for Bath. Bhatti is a decent player, but nothing like Obano.

Marler vs Stuart will be a great battle.

Its going to be tough, but I can see us snatching a win in this one. With the weather improving, running rugby should easier.

Didn't realise Chisholm was injured. That's a blow.

Might explain Wallace's reappearance!

Forecast for tomorrow is warm and dry.

Lang needs to up his game drastically if hes being entrusted to start. I feel this is the wrong call over the impact Taps made, but time will tell.

This will be quite a tough game I feel. We cannot afford our application of the last 3 games, because like the other week our luck finally ran out in the chasing the game after  lacklustre starts and poor discipline, along with questionable defence.
