ROBSHAW AND HORWILL LEAD THE TEAM AS GALLAGHER PREMIERSHIP RUGBY RETURNS TO THE STOOP
Chris Robshaw and James Horwill lead Harlequins as co-captains in their Gallagher Premiership Round 13 fixture against Worcester Warriors at The Stoop on Saturday (kick-off: 15:00).
In a side packed with international caps, Joe Marler starts in the front row with Max Crumpton and Will Collier while Horwill partners Matt Symons at lock with Robshaw at Openside, Jack Clifford on the Blindside and Alex Dombrandt resuming at Number eight.
In the backs Danny Care, England’s most capped Scrum-half, joins up with England U20 Fly-half Marcus Smith with Ben Tapuai and Joe Marchant in the centres and a back three of Nathan Earle, Gabriel Ibitoye and England’s most capped Full-back Mike Brown.
Head of Rugby Paul Gustard said: “We have not had a game for two weeks and in that period we have freshened up players and staff. It has been a great opportunity to assess, reflect and recharge and the players have applied themselves exceptionally well. We are pleased with the continued progression we have seen over the last few weeks.
“We have been in good form of late with some important results at home and away in the Premiership and Europe and we are showing signs consistently of being the team we can be as we continue to develop and grow as a squad.”
