Taps has one more season. Based upon Andre signing I think it means Saili will be off and perhaps Lasike.

Still no news on Robshaw.... Looking forward to hearing transfer news this coming week

Sinckler to Bristol is done - key driver for him leaving was a lot of his good mates to in the squad being let go last season.

I assume that all his old mates are signing for Bristol then?

No more that he apparently felt that he wasnt enjoying Quins as much as a result and so wanted a change.

Hi Fursty,  that’s a real shame if true. I don’t mean to doubt you source, but as I have no idea what/who your source is, how confident are you this is definitely the case?

I used to say exactly the same when I went for a higher paid job and I normally wish that I had stayed where I was.

It would be better to hear that he just wants change than he’s chasing money. He doesn’t look happy on the pitch almost just going through the motions. He’ll be missed but if we can get a good scrummaging TH who does the basics well I’m not sure it will be for long.

Can't say I'm surprised at the reason, thought and said similar at the time that there would be a negative impact with letting so many go in one hit last season including the 7 academy lads. Unfortunately might still be the thin edge of the wedge

TRP also reporting that Sinckler to Bristol is done, saying announcement won’t be done until after the 6 Nations. Not sure about everyone else but I’d prefer it to be announced so we can just move on from it. Unfortunately when a team chucks money at you, loyalty means nothing. His performances in quarters this season have been borderline disgraceful, been so poor. Thought he’d show more respect to the club that built who he is and gave him a chance, obviously not

I really don't blame Sincklair if he is leaving g for the money. So would any other player with any self respect. It's a short career and one that can be ended early.

Proffeional sport mans loyalty is a dying yet noble cause.

The salary cap encourages these types of moves.

I'm not going to cry over it or get upset, just excited to see who is next come in to replace him, plus extra players.

If Sinckler is leaving so be it, I am sure we will get a good replacement. If someone isn't happy at the club or doesn't want to be at the club anymore it is surely more harmful to the club overall to keep them.

Problem for Sinks is that he will always be judged by coaches, fans and players alike. Based upon past experiences. I think at times it seems like he is on the naughty seat a lot and probably needs a change.

He is in the generation of Quins players that have not succeeded - team results (trophies etc). New environment might be good for him and also for Quins.

Oh well, it will be a shame to see him leave but good luck to him.

Pretty confident based on the source and then saying it’s 100% done.

Personally I don’t think we get enough out of the Sinck to justify spending 8-10% of the cap on him so think it’s a good move all round.

If he's unhappy, it's best for all that he leaves. It will be interesting to see him play against Joe next season though.
