Varsity match
« on: Thursday 06-Dec-2018, 15:33 »
Apart from our Goatmen playing for Oxford - Nigel Owen ref ‘there is no need to call me sir, I am from West Wales’ to which no reply from Cambridge  player! Oxford have Wigglesworth coaching, Dom Waldouck playing/coach plus a Sarries youngster and are still down. Brian Moore commentating

50 mins and Goatman off - he is only 33 - I just wish he had never left absolute master of the line out.

Quite a few ex players in both teams. Robson and Hennessy from quins, waldouck, ransom, I'm sure some others too. I was amazed at Robson only being 33. There was a good interview with him in the rugby osoey the other day, saying after Munster did us at home in the Heineken 1/4s, he realised we were a fading force and it was time to.plan for the future

Good to see the women players swearing on TV after their win.

Yes Danger is much missed. Big Olly and Danger were a great 2nd row pairing. Classic big lump and athlete...
