Wilco Louw

The Stormers have confirmed he has played his last game for them.  If the season does get underway again, it looks as though (as expected) that players moving sides will be turning out for their new teams (Contracts end in June in England I believe)

Won’t be a bad thing to see him un Quins colours. I hope he really surges up our scrum.

I think im right in saying that he won the most scrum pens in Super Rugby (or something along those lines).

Seems rather silly to me that transfers will happen during the season, but there we are. It'll make the mini pre-season rather interesting, with players returning to training and then meeting a load of new team mates

I agree, I guess one way to look at it is if you have a player moving to a new club on a two year deal, what happens if that deal is delayed by 4 months, do they lose out on four months money (if it s bumper new deal) , are all contracts from now on out of sync etc.  Seems silly but in terms of continuity for contracts, i can understand it.  Just underlines how pointless the resumption of the season will be for me.  With relegation sorted, is it not worth just playing a little mini league or, the longer it goes on, just wait for next season.

As Pat Lam said recently on BT Rugby, he expects Sinkler to report for work at the Bears on 1st July.!

Pat was bothered whether the season was over, or not.

A contracts a contract!

Plenty of other players have changed clubs mid season recently....Yarde, Ashton.. ???

Looking at him, he could probably shore up a small building...
