Yellow card song

I’m fairly sure we used to play “So Long, Farewell” when a visiting player was awarded a yellow card.

We don’t play anything any more.

What happened to this?

Yes and "Give Peas a Chance" for a scrap.

Remember when we played the theme tune to Coranation Street when Sale ran out quite few years ago.
They thrashed us.....

i don't miss the YC songs --  they were funny a couple of times, but wore off.

I really DO miss 'Place Your Hands' by Reef, when we won.  That was a quins tradition for so long, real shame that they have dropped it  (and just as we started winning more as well).

And it used to be Stereophonics 'Have a Nice Day' when we lost.

Think we have to realise that a lot of what goes on at the Stoop isn’t aimed at the “ older`’ supporters, and I don’t mean just age

• Yellow Card - So Long, Farewell
• Red Card - These Boots Are Made For Walking
•Fistycuffs - Give Peace a Chance

Loved the atmosphere! I understand in a way why they shelved them but part of me also really wants them back. Whenever I took along friends/family to matches they always used to love the different songs lyrics comically matching up to the current match even too.

Oh and I remember the cheerleaders too. That I don’t miss so much but again it was good entertainment.

Hoping they bring those clever song quips in again some time!
