Harlequins can confirm the signing of four short-term loanees ahead of the upcoming PREM Rugby Cup fixtures.
With four consecutive Cup matches on the horizon, the Quarters have bolstered their squad with the arrival of four forwards who will provide valuable short-term cover.
Luke Yendle (prop - pictured far right) and Barny Langton-Cryer (second row - pictured second from left) arrive at The Stoop from United Rugby Championship side Dragons RFC.
Yendle joins the Club as a 25-year-old tighthead prop, having made 22 First Team appearances for the Welsh region since making his debut in 2020. He has also gained experience with Super Rygbi Cymru sides Newport RFC and Pontypool RFC, as well as former English CHAMP outfit Jersey Reds.
Langton-Cryer, who can operate in the second row, has made 16 senior appearances for the Dragons. The 25-year-old has also previously featured for Newport RFC.
Oisín McCormack (pictured second from right) is another addition for the upcoming Cup block, joining Harlequins from United Rugby Championship outfit Connacht.
The 24-year-old back rower progressed through the player pathway in Galway and has made three senior appearances for Connacht. Last weekend, he featured from the bench away to Zebre Parma, crossing the whitewash for a bonus-point score.
Ben Murphy (pictured far left) completes the quartet, arriving at The Stoop from Super Rygbi Cymru side Cardiff RFC. The 23-year-old loosehead prop was formerly part of the Worcester Warriors Academy and captained Cardiff Met University in BUCS Super Rugby.
Senior Coach, Jason Gilmore said: “With a large number of our squad away with their respective national teams and while we manage the return to play schedule of a several senior players, it’s important we have depth throughout our squad for the upcoming PREM Cup block.
“The players we have coming in have a great opportunity to contribute to our environment and gain exposure to different competitions and opposition. They’re excited to get stuck in and we’re looking forward to seeing how they contribute to the Quins jersey over the next few weeks.”
