Another invitation
« on: »
So, after the last few requests falling on deaf ears (I can only assume I correctly identified we were crap)which put fear into the keyboard warriors, once again I am putting on offer a chance to meet me and have a pint. I’ll be at the Exeter game, let’s make it happen.

If you like I can let you know my table number in spoons and you can order me a drink anyway? I will be disappointed if it’s anything other than a double JD with dash of anti freeze

Sitting listening to you justifying your negativity and Club bashing plus the use of words like "spanner" and "haters" in a very unfunny way is not terribly appealing. We all know that Hercules has his hands full clearing out the Aegean Stables , we're not idiots. However, to have a presence constantly reminding us of our failings and bigging themselves up as the Oracle is, well, rather tiresome I'm sorry to say.

Nothing personal, I'm sure you are a basically decent chap halfway to salvation by being a Quins Fan but, gawd, give it a rest son.

If anyone is looking for an excuse - here are some:

Sorry - I can't make it as I am busy as . . .

-I have started training to become a water carrier — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
-starting to watch all 28 series of Home Under the Hammer from the beginning
-I'm busy sorting my spice rack by level of emotional attachment
-I'm halfway through recharging all my rechargeable batteries to the exact same percentage
-Sorry, I’ve vowed to memorise every Harlequins squad list since 1866 in alphabetical and chronological order
-I have committed to watching a YouTube livestream of paint drying
-I'm reorganising my sock drawer
-I'm rewatching the 2003 World Cup final but only the scrums
-I promised I'd knit tiny scrum caps for my garden gnomes
-Busy creating a scent-based quiz to identify each Harlequins player by the smell of their post-match jersey
-I'm compiling a coffee table book of inspirational line-out formations
-Can't make it — I’m painting my living room in Harlequins quarters using match-worn socks as rollers
-Currently training my cat to understand the concept of a rolling maul

You're right. If you know of any words or phrases in particular, let us know so we can know to avoid using them...
