Damn, that's a shame, that. Always feels worse when it's Sarries too! He has the potential (physique) but lots of work to do on the technicals. I hope he achieves his potential because he could be huge for England in the future... Good luck Josh.

I'd guess it's a question of us wanting to announce he's leaving before Sarries announce he's joining (after the storm that surrounded JJ's departure to them a few years back...)

I'd also guess we'll be bringing in another TH? Unless Swainston and McNulty are staying and are deemed good enough (they're really not).

Well Sarries have announced on their official before Quins have

Cant see another TH coming in myself, even if we lose one of Swainston or Mcnulty..  Sink, Collier, Kerrod, Swainston/Mcnulty, Sassone.  Cant see us having 6 on the books.  Of course, as mentioned if both Swainston and Mcnulty go then I would expect an incoming, although more of a squad filler.

It's really not.

Didn't we go through this with the French club and whoever it was?

Unless there some condition of announcement because it's a big deal, totally up to them to announce it if they want.

If I moved jobs my current employer wouldn't put out a press release, but my new one would.

Never get the claims of some kind of etiquette on this. It's not like they're announcing someone died.

I'd guess Ian Peel has had a look at him and thinks he can do something with him. Obviously seen him through the England age grade years as well
