BINGO! I wondered how long it would be before we heard that Gustard had lost the dressing room!

I do wonder if the current unhappiness (allegedly) in the squad is because Gustard/Millard have told some of the senior players they have to take big cuts or go.

A combination of this & the brain fart of letting our best young player go on loan for the 2nd half of the season effectively saying the season is over in terms of top 4.

I’m hoping they are planning a big clear out of the old guard. Drain the swamp & start again with more street wise players.

So much to disagree with here.

Letting Joe Marchant go - what were the options? For all we know he may have left for NZ of his own accord, permanently. Would that be better?

The season is over - after 8 games out of 22, with us 5 points off 4th place?

More street wise players - who is available, that we can afford, and keep under the cap? And should we get what are known as journeymen, simply because they are street wise? Or are we looking at seasoned pros? And if we "start again", how long would you give before you complain that we're not making progress quickly enough?This is PG's first full season, so it could be argued that until he's had a full season then you shouldn't judge him. Otherwise you will end up changing DoR mid season again, and again, and again, always looking for instant success.

I think it’s a correct observation. Discipline going out the window, Sinklers attitude, no real cohesion. Makes perfect sense. It wouldn’t surprise me if Gustard does go, which he should, that we hear from former players (probably Sinks when he moves on) how toxic things were with players frustrated at the lack of proper direction

I've been following quins for 20+ years, and I've grown tired of watching us year on year fall further and further behind the pack when it comes to competing with most teams in the league. Ask yourself, when was being a Quins supporter actually "enjoyable?" or the fact you looked forward to watching a game rather than turning up hoping for the best. Stockholm syndrome in terms of accepting defeat has set in with a few people on here and I wont accept the standard the club has now become.

 

Well, I’ll tell you what for! I’ve never been a coach but if they continue to eff up the coaching and lose the dressing room, why not put some signs up: “Dressing room this way”?

 

I've been following Quins for longer. In all that time we have been a team who have been consistently inconsistent. I enjoyed winning the Premiership and the various cups but recognise that along with most clubs we can't hope to compete in a league with a team who "wins" trophies by cheating year in and year out.

Personally I don't see what slagging of the club you support at every opportunity achieves and that if I gained so little enjoyment from following a club I would find something else to do with my time but that's just my opinion of course.
