He might develop at 12, but will need game time, as does Lennox Ananwu (I think he is in place as the regular back up at 12 moving forward, he looked good in the recent prem cup highlights).

We also have Hayden Hyde who has been away with England 7's he is 6'3 and close to 16 stone. So he looks like more of a Esteruizen type player. As we all know, it is not about the size of the player, just look at Marcus Smith and Tyronne Green. If they are good enough, they are generally big enough.

We defo need more depth at 12's the fact that Tuilangi is still an option going forward for England, is a sign of desperation.

Quins look fairly well stocked and we need a lot of the academy prospects to get game time and experience. Ready for next season.

I’d like to see Hyde focus on 13 rather than at 12. He really stood out when playing there for Ireland u20s and in his appearances for Ulster.

Re Beard anyone remember a certain G Lowe he was pretty good and you wouldn’t have described him as ‘big’.

Well Beard Is bigger than Lowe and his performances in the prem this year show he’s well up to the standard.
